As a part of the company’s social responsibility, Pakharenko and Partners will support the social event “I Buy Real! I Don’t Buy Fakes!” of the Ukraine Alliance Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (UAACP) which will be held on 21-23 November 2018 at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center.

UAACP will be the partner of the 3^rd International forum “INNOVATION MARKET” (http://innovationmarket.com.ua/) and will hold its regular social event as a part of awareness-raising campaign “Anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy days in Ukraine”.

The purpose of awareness-raising activities isto promote formation of rational consumption model and to raise awareness among the Ukrainians about the risks and consequences of buying counterfeit goods. Ukrainians should bear in mind that:

counterfeiting is one of the main obstacles for the development of national manufacture;

IPR infringements hamper innovations and economic development of the country;

failure to comply with high standards in agrochemical sphere poses a threat of large-scale man-made disasters;

proliferation of counterfeits seen during the recent years is mostly caused by the existing link between counterfeiting and criminal activity/terrorism;

fake medicines, toys, spare parts for transport vehicles, fertilizers and other similar goods can seriously harm consumer health and safety;

therefore — when buying a counterfeit one supports crime and puts one’s personal health and safety at risk!

During all three days of the forum the UAACP’s mobile Museum of Counterfeits will be displayed demonstrating the samples of counterfeit clothes, footwear, toys, various accessories, decorative cosmetics, perfumes, cigarettes, agrochemicals and chemical products.

All participants and guests of the forum will have an opportunity to view the display items of the museum, receive answers to their questions from the experts, find out more about the problem of counterfeiting, get an advice on how to avoid purchasing fake goods and take part in the survey.
